Built for New Jersey’s New Integrated Care Standard

Purpose-built as an Outpatient Integrated Care Facility.

In 2026, New Jersey adopted N.J.A.C. 8:43K — a new licensure standard created specifically for facilities that deliver behavioral health and physical health care together, under one license, to promote integrated “whole person” care. Aura Medical is pursuing licensure under this new standard and is being designed for it from the ground up — one facility, one set of standards, one coordinated plan of care.

Frequently Asked

Questions people ask most.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is typically 9–12 hours of programming per week — usually 3 hours per session, 3 days a week. Partial Care (the NJ equivalent of PHP-level care) is a higher intensity: typically 20+ hours per week across 5 days. Both are outpatient — patients live at home — but Partial Care provides more structure and clinical support for patients stepping down from inpatient or requiring more than IOP can offer.

IOP is planned for 9–12 hours per week (three ~3-hour sessions). Partial Care is planned for 20+ hours per week across 5 days. Exact schedules will be published closer to opening.
