Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is typically 9–12 hours of programming per week — usually 3 hours per session, 3 days a week. Partial Care (the NJ equivalent of PHP-level care) is a higher intensity: typically 20+ hours per week across 5 days. Both are outpatient — patients live at home — but Partial Care provides more structure and clinical support for patients stepping down from inpatient or requiring more than IOP can offer.

Yes. Aura Medical will offer physician-led medication management, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders and psychiatric medication management for co-occurring conditions.
Yes, in most cases. Aura’s programming is designed to complement — not replace — established outpatient therapy relationships when clinically appropriate. Your care team will coordinate with your existing providers.
